Our Benchmatez Story.
We are Hockey Moms. Between us we have seven children that play hockey. Our kids love to play the game and have played on various travel teams over the years. We became Team Managers as a natural result of our involvement with our kids playing hockey. Last season, we encountered an upset parent who had volunteered to carry the teams water bottles on a hockey trip.
As we live in South Florida we do have to frequently travel in order to play competitive hockey. We had witnessed team parents make the decision to purchase new water bottles instead of transporting the teams water bottles on numerous occasions. Sometimes they even left the bottles with the tournament hosts. Carrying the big plastic awkward carrier with the water bottles was not a pleasure for anyone and rotating the duties among the parents lead to frequent complaints about having to pay for oversized luggage.
We were determined that there had to be a better way; there had to be something easier to carry these water bottles in. We purchased some materials, we learned how to sew and within weeks we came up with something we believe is unique. Our product is extremely practical and we are very proud of it. We are also proud that we were able to take that negative energy of parental complaints and turn it into a very positive solution.
We believe this is the new generation of water bottle carriers. We named and patented our product and now offer it as an answer to all Team Managers in all sports that travel to find competition in their chosen sport.
